Nxled lights up the bright future of the UP Men’s Basketball Team
For the second year, Nxled, the leader in next generation lighting, will be supporting the University of the Philippines men’s basketball team in Season 81 of the University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
“As a homegrown company committed to bringing the latest lighting innovations, Nxled is excited for the bright future of the UP Maroons,” said Catherine Tiu-Tan, Nxled executive vice president. “We believe in this promising team and we pledge our full support as they embark in a new direction this season.” The UP Maroons are considered to be potential Final Four contenders in the upcoming UAAP season.
“We thank Nxled for recognizing the potential of this young team,” said Bo Perasol, UP head coach. “We are proud to have maintained their support and trust to us as we aim higher this coming season.” For his part, NowheretogobutUP Foundation chairman, Atty. Agaton Uvero added, “We are grateful to enjoy Nxled’s backing. We will strive to represent the brand well in the upcoming UAAP season.”
Also present during the signing ceremony are Dr. Michael L. Tan, UP Diliman chancellor; Ms. Robina Gokongwei-Pe, president, CEO & director of Robinson Retail Holdings, Inc. and officials of NowheretogobutUP.
